Her damage isn't enough to contribute anything meaningful, her shield restores are too slow, and her auras are largely unimpactful.

Empath - This character is hot trash in the higher Entropies.

He doesn't particularly excel in any one given area (except Reflection Shield) but the fact that he is so well rounded and able to function as damage, support, or tank makes him an excellent choice. He can tank, assist tanks with Reflection Shield, stagger, do damage, AoE.

Varangian - Varangian is the ultimate jack of all trades.

Slapping a Biorifle on the Enforcer creates an incredibly durable tank while still maintaining near Spectre level damage. Burst Shot keeps his damage on-par with even the Spectre for most of the game but the bigger hero here is the Biorifle.

Enforcer - With the increased enemy count in Entropy 4 and 5, you really need to pack your team with more damage the Enforcer covers this role nicely.

If you're not using this guy I highly recommend you check him out.

Combine this with a Boneslicer to reduce everyone's defense and you have scary strong AoE/tanking/debuffing/staggering, particularly on turn 1. This allows you to use Siphon Stab as an opener for pretty much every fight while still fully protecting yourself from retaliation. Paragon - As of right now, Siphon Stab allows you to go over your shield max for the turn you used it on.

Spam damage items and complement her with characters that reduce the enemies' defense. She mostly staggers opponents early on and transitions to AoE/JaggedSlash in the mid-to-late game. She has the highest damage in the game (especially when you factor in the fact that all three of her gear slots can add to her damage), a fast and strong stagger, high shields (progeny based), and a powerful AoE. Most fights boil down to opening with Siphon Stab to strip shields and apply the Boneslicer's debuff and then following up with the Spectre's high damage while the Empath grants the Spectre bonus turns. Promote the Boneslicer so you're more likely to find it and then promote any sword and/or gun with damage on it to really make the Spectre shine. If you're looking for a solid Entropy 4 or 5 team, I suggest using Paragon, Spectre, and the Empath. Characters with access to AoE tend to do much better on higher Entropies while single-target and/or tanky characters tend to struggle more. Some general notes: enemies are present in greater number in Entropy 4 and 5 which makes sustaining your shields much more difficult and places a stronger emphasis on doing damage, particularly AoE damage.
